Zabytkowy Rynek Choroszcz

Zabytkowy Rynek w Choroszczy stanowi centralny punkt miasta, którego układ został nadany przez Jana Klemensa Branickiego w połowie XVIII wieku. Wówczas powstał czteroboczny rynek z odchodzącymi od niego symetrycznie zaplanowanymi ulicami. W centrum rynku stoi Pomnik Poległym za Wolność Ojczyzny, wzniesiony w 1934 roku, z charakterystycznym obeliskiem zwieńczonym orłem.

Nad rynkiem dominuje barokowy kościół św. Jana Chrzciciela i św. Szczepana Męczennika, fundacji Branickiego. Obok świątyni znajduje się dawny klasztor dominikanów. Cały zespół budowli jest widoczny zarówno z placu, jak i z ulicy Dominikańskiej oraz z pobliskich łąk nad rzeką Horodnianką. Pozostałe pierzeje rynku wypełnia niska zabudowa o małomiasteczkowym charakterze.
